Specialists in Viatza

The Specialists section is your reusable provider directory.
Instead of rewriting doctor details in every appointment, you keep one structured profile and reuse it whenever needed.
Open the Specialists Screen
To get to this screen:
- Open Home for the patient you want to work on
- In Browse, tap Specialists
All specialists shown here belong to the currently selected patient.
Why This Section Is Useful
This section centralizes provider details in one place, including:
- Specialty
- Contact details
- One or more locations
- Notes
- Tags
Keeping this profile up to date reduces duplication and makes appointment setup faster.
Add a Specialist
Once you are in the Specialists screen, tap + to create a new specialist profile.
When creating a specialist, you can fill in the core details and save.
You can also import contact data while creating a new specialist to avoid typing everything manually.
Manage Specialist’s Locations
Inside each specialist profile, you can maintain location details over time.
You can:
- Add locations
- Reorder locations
- Remove outdated locations
When a location supports map opening, you can jump directly to it.
Use Specialists in Appointments
In appointment details, tap Specialist to assign an existing profile.
You can also replace the assigned specialist later if plans change.
Reusing specialist profiles keeps care history consistent and easier to follow.
