Settings in Viatza

Settings in Viatza

Table of Contents

Settings is where you control privacy behavior, Health integration, backup workflows, and premium access.

This section is especially important when you set up Viatza on a new device or prepare to import/export data.

Open the Settings Screen

To open Settings:

  • Go to Home
  • Tap Settings in the top header area

Settings always applies to your app configuration, not just one single entry.

The greeting 'Hello, John' is displayed at the top, followed by upcoming appointment details with Dr. Maya Patel, a dentist, scheduled for February 26, 2026. The section below includes options for browsing 'Medications', 'Symptoms', and 'Appointments', each with a number indicating available items.

Premium

Use Get Premium or Change Premium to manage your subscription status.

Premium unlocks additional workflows, such as expanded multi-patient usage, HealthKit sync capabilities and more

If you are already subscribed, this section is where you review or update your plan.

HealthKit

In HealthKit, you can import data from Apple Health or export supported data back to Apple Health.

Viatza shows confirmations before these actions so changes are deliberate and easier to review.

If you plan to use Health integration regularly, this is the section you will return to most often.

Backup

Use backup export/import to move or recover your data.

Recommended safe flow:

  • Export a fresh backup first
  • Confirm the backup is saved where you expect
  • Run import only when you are ready to replace current local data

Because import replaces local records, exporting first is the safest practice.

Data Reset

Erase All Data permanently removes all local records after confirmation.

Treat this as a final action unless you already exported a backup and verified it.

The 'Browse' section includes options for 'Medications,' 'Symptoms,' and 'Appointments,' with respective counts next to each.

iOS Privacy Controls

In iOS Settings > Viatza, Disable Private controls whether private entries are redacted in-app.

For device-level privacy, enable Require Face ID on the app icon so nobody else can open your health data.
