Did I get it right, that the app needs to stay active on the device to start the defined actions?
not anymore, if you have the option enabled (by default), it should play sounds and vibrate even when it’s in background (not active)

Is it possible to schedule a recurring timer? I’d like to set a reminder multiple times per day during waking hours. Can this be done?
Hi Vern,
I’m sure you can do that, but the issue is that it won’t start by itself. That’s more like feature of a reminder app, rather than a timer app.
Even though, I believe with a bit of ingenuity you may achieve that on Mac by adding script that’d trigger a shortcut to run at a specific time.
I’d recommend you to ask to TimixGPT, it might help with any questions not only generating templates.
Let me know if you found a solution.
Hey Vern, it is actually possible using Shortcuts app, in the Automation tab, you can set a recurrent shortcut that is running at specific times of the day, so you can run a Timix shortcut that runs your timer. Let me know if it worked please.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the capacity to keep track of older devices like the iPhone X. But you can still download the last working build (if it hasn’t expired) from TestFlight and avoid updating:

Hello, my name is cevdet. First, I would like to say thank you for this wonderful app, I have a short question and please: can you also translate the app into Turkish? Because the app is very extensive. For me and my blind friends, it is sometimes difficult to stop everything. I use iphone with voiceover, and and timix works very well with voiceove.

Thank you for your comment ! I’m genuinely happy to hear that blind people are able to use Timix, that was one of my intentions when building it.
I’ll translate it to Turkish in one of the following updates. I’ll let you know when it’s done.
In regard to stopping all timers, unfortunately you cannot at the moment, but you can say “Hey Siri, Pause Timix” and it should pause all the timers or you can create a shortcut in Shortcuts app with a Pause Timix action and name it however you’d like to tell Siri to pause Timix timers. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have further questions or suggestions. I’d be happy to help.

You can also say: Hey siri, resume Timix. It’ll resume all timers that are paused.
Good job with the Timix app! I like the app a lot. I just wanted to kindly ask what about the users you promised lifetime premium for on reddit? From my perspective, you got the feedback and necessary testers from the old app, fixed stuff and implemented the changes. Now the old app in the appstore is being retired and asks to download a new app where obviously users need to pay again.

Just to clarify, I didn’t move Timix to a new App Store listing because I wanted to. I had to do it because of Apple’s app transfer limitations. It was definitely not in my interest to lose all the ratings, reviews, and links to the old listing across websites and communities.
For people who previously paid or donated, I added a way to restore Premium in the new app, so they don’t need to pay again.
I also made sure not to block access to templates created in the old app. Users can still use the templates they already made, although creating new templates is now part of Premium.
Regarding Lifetime Premium promised for Reddit feedback/testers: yes, I still give Premium to people who actually helped with feedback, testing, bug reports, suggestions, or meaningful input.
The difficult part is that I’ve also received requests from people who simply used the old app, but didn’t provide feedback or testing input. Since Timix doesn’t track user data or analytics, app usage alone doesn’t give me feedback that helps improve the app.
So I’m trying to be fair: people who paid or donated can restore Premium, people who genuinely helped with feedback can still get Premium, and existing user-created templates remain usable to everyone.
