  1. Hi, loving the app.
I have it for iPhone and iPad but I can’t seem to get them to sync. Do I have to pay a subscription for both? Thanks
    Louisa

    1. Hi Louisa,
      Thank you for kind words.
iCloud sync is not available yet, coming soon. Until then you can either send a template from one device to another by exporting it to a file or a timix url and importing on another device, see share button in the bottom right corner on the template form.
If you want to send a running/ongoing timer, you can use handoff feature: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102426 .
      Hope this helps.

  2. Oh that sounds complicated. I’m not very tech savvy. I’ll have a look.
    Thanks.
    Looking forward to the update.

Will you connect to YouTube music at all?

    Thanks.

    1. It’s just a few taps away. I’d recommend sharing it as a Text URL if the template is relatively small. You can simply AirDrop the link to your iPad, and it should prompt you to import the template directly into Timix.

If the template is more complex, sharing it as a file is probably the better option.

If you want to start a song in YouTube Music, you may also be able to do that using the Open URL trigger. Just copy the link to the song and paste it into the trigger. It should open the song and start playing, although I’m not 100% sure how reliably this works with YouTube Music. I can confirm that it works with Spotify.

I’m not planning to add explicit YouTube Music integration at the moment. I’d rather avoid introducing Google SDKs into Timix, mainly because of privacy concerns and the additional dependency potentially affecting the app’s stability.
