The app stores images and metadata in a folder, making it easy to transfer data for backups or to a new device. I love this setup, and it makes me trust this app.

This app is a lifesaver!
I always forget where I put my things. Now, I just take a photo, label it, and I can find it easily later. It’s super easy to use and keeps everything private.

Hallo Steffen! Hippocam doesn’t currently support time-based reminders or notifications – it’s intentionally distraction-free.
But if you need a scheduled reminder, there’s an easy workaround:
Go to your memory and tap the Share button (bottom right corner) and choose to share with Reminders app. It will let you save the image as a reminder and set a time for it.
Hope this helps!
